15. What happens next?

15.1After this consultation ends, all feedback will be reviewed. This will help us ensure we are responding to the views of our communities right from the start of the process of updating our local plan and that we are engaging with you in the most effective ways.

15.2As referred to above, there will be a further two formal consultations for you to help shape the plan: the first is anticipated in summer 2027 and will focus on the vision of the plan, proposed aims and objectives, the proposed plan content and evidence. The second is expected in early 2028 and will be a consultation on the full draft plan before it is submitted for independent examination.

15.3All information on the local plan timetable can be found on the new local plan timetable page: https://www.chichester.gov.uk/new-local-plan-timetable. This will be kept up to date throughout the period we are updating our local plan.
