We object to the proposed development of 1250 houses in Southbourne, the village had already agreed to take 350 houses which will have a significant impact on this community in terms of doctors/school/traffic pollution. We note that in your documents you do not show the map for Southbourne indicating development sites, however when we attended the local presentation we saw marked sites and we particularly object to any development to the north of the village as this would mean extending this village to an unacceptable level and the loss of green fields which are at present farmed. There are no longer any buses that run through Southbourne the nearest being on the A259 which is 1 mile+ from the north end so therefore any development here would mean more cars per household which would be used to take children to school and would have a significant impact on Stein Road which is already a busy road exacerbated by the level crossing that causes huge queues. There are very few facilities north of the railway.

What improvements or changes would you suggest?

Do not consider north.
