Re: BETHWAINES FARM
This is a letter to express my great concern as well as to object to how Fishbourne could be totally overdeveloped in the coming years without adequate infrastructure in place. This new development will challenge the wildlife corridor which is so important for conservation in the future.

It seems to me that Doctors and hospitals are already under pressure as well dental services and school places; everything is stretched now with more housing it will become totally inadequate. Also there is a problem of the pressure of many more vehicles on the local roads; what about safety of the residents? At present our local roads are not adequately maintained and the volume of traffic is only just about manageable for a pedestrian in my opinion (not to mention the horrendous Fishbourne roundabout which really needs traffic lights!) I also think that building so many houses is short-sighted as we need sustainable farm land which is critical for our own locally produced food, particularly with the potential problem of Brexit.

Another reason I object is that Fishbourne, which is not a 'service village' but with all this building it will lose its identity and will end up as a congested urban sprawl. Is this your plan?

I hope you will take note of my thoughts on this matter.
