However, in exceptional circumstances, the Council may use its discretion to allow other 'Approved Bodies' to deliver affordable housing units. This will, at all times, be strictly in line with the NPPF."

Examples include Build to Rent, Self Build, Starter Homes, Discounted Market Homes etc.
