A27 Chichester Bypass Mitigation Supplementary Planning Document - August 2023

Holiday lets

Representation ID: 6377

Received: 31/10/2023

Respondent: Earnley Parish Council

Representation Summary:

Earnley Parish Council is concerned that the exclusion on holiday lets may be open to abuse, with single dwellings be listed as a holiday let during the planning process and the owner of the building letting it to themselves. In addition the building of holiday lets is to provide an income for the owner and therefore double taxation is not a valid consideration as the users of the accommodation will be adding to the traffic using the A27.

The policy should only read caravan not caravan/buildings
