Manhood Peninsula is already at severe risk of flooding and yet more houses are planned, reducing run off capabilities and increasing risk of widespread property flooding. Many houses in the area are already excluded from flood claims by insurance companies.AL6 is on the highest Flood plain risk 3 (govt data). It also acts as the River Lavant drainage area. Chichester will flood if you concrete over the natural drainage basin. Madness..Data is there. Do not ignore it. Unless this is adequately addressed in future iterations of the plan, I will raise it with examiner at the appropriate time.
