Essential that sufficient housing is provided for growing numbers of elderly so they do not have to move out of the area if needing more appropriate housing for their needs. As this will require single story dwellings it will have a lower density and consideration should be given to this. The planning process MUST hold developers to account in this delivery or our elderly people will not be able to remain in their communities
