It is very worrying that you refer to this huge number of new houses as only the minimum required!
I cannot see how we can possibly support the number of new homes you want to squeeze into our rather small city without destroying very nearly every small village in the surrounding area and making travelling around here unbearable with the extra traffic and air pollution with no promise of a new northern route. Surely if we are not being offered this we should simply refuse to provide all this extra housing until we are.
We are going to lose all the charm of our lovely city,not to mention the lose of huge areas of habitat currently occupied by wildlife with absolutely nothing in return
